About
Founder Paul Curtis has always been immersed in a medical world. As a recipient of groundbreaking medical treatments, he realized the benefits, to patients, of innovative, cutting edge technologies. This interest lead him to Purdue University where he completed degrees in Biomedical and Computer Engineering. With the encougagment of his father, an anesthesiologist and director of anesthesia simulations, Paul became interested in the newly emerging field of medical simulation. While pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Paul took a job as a simulation technician at Indiana University. He worked with all disciplines, running every imaginable simulation. Always on the lookout for areas he could fully utilize his talents and interests, he developed the ECMO simulator, EigenFlow.

With an entrepreneurial spirit, Paul worked and reworked his ideas for ECMO simulation. Four prototypes later, Curtis Life Research LLC was born. Paul is excited to share this new device that will make ECMO simulation more realistic, suspending disbelief, and allowing you to offer ECMO simulations like you had only dreamed of.
